Surface Magazine

Art Direction

As art director of Surface Magazine, I was responsible for developing original creative content for the magazine while maintaining the brand identity of the publication. I worked with the editors and marketing department to produce visuals for features and advertorials, and managed photo shoot production, retouching, and overall layout design.

Columbia Business School

Logo Design

Columbia Business School commissioned me to design a logo for their 6th Annual Retail and Luxury Goods Club Conference. The theme for the event was innovation in ecommerce, and this logo was the final selection. It was applied to a variety of media, including printed programs, banners and the web.

Nature Transformed

Book Design

Macklowe Gallery asked me to create a book to commemorate a rare collection of hand-sculpted horn jewelry from the Art Nouveau period that they acquired. The purpose of the book was to present the hundred-year-old jewelry in a youthful, fashionable context, which was achieved with the help of photographers Wayne Maser and Kirk Edwards, and set designer Douglas Little.
